"Warm Stripes"

"Flat Box In Gray"

Medium: Acrylic on canvas

48 x 72 x 1.5 inches
This piece began outdoors—sky overhead, warm sunlight on my face, and a carpet of intricate leaves at my feet. I sketched the ones that intrigued me and let their shapes and spirals guide the work.

"No Fear"

"No Fear"

Medium: Acrylic on canvas

50 x 50 x 1.5 inches

Description: Artistic expression requires risk—putting one’s emotions, ideas and creativity out into the world. Fear can stem from this vulnerability, but overcoming it involves seeing it as a source of strength rather than weakness.
.
This painting is about recognizing fears and walking through them. When it’s challenging, I think about doing it for my family, my friends and anyone who needs the push.

Gloss coat on the black strokes, slight texture in white matte background.
