Sheppard Morose creates large-scale abstract paintings for spaces where art is expected to do serious work — corporate headquarters, healthcare environments, and residences where architecture and interior design have set a high, specific standard.
Based in St. Louis with over two decades in practice, she brings a background in corporate design to every collaboration. She understands lead times, approval chains, and what's at stake when art is asked to carry weight in a space. Her work is developed to integrate, not merely decorate: scaled to architecture, calibrated to palette, and resolved before it arrives on site.
She works directly with interior designers, architects, and art consultants from early concept through installation — joining a project at whatever stage is most useful, and stepping back when the space calls for it. Commissions are available for single works and multi-piece programs. Selected placements include Centene Corporation, The Staenberg Group, Stifel Financial and residential collections across the country.
Private inquiries are welcomed.

"Collaborating with Sheppard on commissioned art pieces, from the beginning to the end, is always an inspirational and positive experience. She is an amazing listener and interpreter, and she is always open to our thoughts regarding scale, color, texture, and mood. Her art is transformative and enlightening. It is also a privilege to install her art in the spaces I have worked diligently on—sometimes for years—knowing that it will elevate the environment we have curated."
"Over the last fifteen years, Sheppard’s work has brought beauty, vitality and spirit to the public spaces in many of our flagship multifamily and senior neighborhoods. She is a great collaborator and her work is timeless and universal."
“Choosing an artist can feel intimidating. When we met Sheppard, we were drawn to the fact that she invited us to collaborate with her to create something personal and meaningful to our family business.“
